The LitraTorch 2.0 is here, and it rocks!

If you have been keeping up with the hot new product announcements coming out of CES ‘19, then you probably know that the unveiling of the LitraTorch 2.0 was a highlight.

While many leaders in the digital photo/video space knew that this release was going to be white-hot, nobody expected this level of white-hot. Somehow, the big brains at Litra managed to take their highly-lauded LitraTorch product to entirely new levels, and it’s blowing everybody away.

This latest generation of high-performance LED lighting boasts some pretty impressive stats and specs.

To cut to the chase, virtually every spec and rating of the original Torch has been ratcheted up, way up. For starters, the 2.0 has double the number of LEDs, 16 up from eight on the original. They also claim significant improvements to the product’s already-stellar CRI, as well as the optics. Thanks to its sleek design, it’s highly versatile. The LitraTorch 2.0 can be used on DSLR, action cams (such as GoPro), and even smartphones, and deliver incredible results anytime, anywhere!

For those who may remember, it took a while for the original LitraTorch to grow on some of the more discriminating photographers and videographers in the marketplace. Most initially thought that the light unit was just too small and chintzy to be able to deliver any level of professional or worthwhile results. But thanks to Litra proving itself in several incredible action shots that have gone viral as well as stunning underwater footage, those doubts were quickly put to rest.

The LitraTorch 2.0 takes the original’s hard-earned mantle to great new heights and depths!

That's because the 2.0 version is rated for up to 60 ft. (approx. 20m), that’s DOUBLE the original Torch’s depth rating of 30 ft. (9.5m). For us divers, this means amazing crystal-clear footage from deeper night dives, and without expensive, bulky dive lights!

Some other bragging points for the LitraTorch 2.0 include longer battery life (rated 10% over the original), cooler operation temperature, and smoother flicker-free performance.

Best of all, it’s priced at only $10 higher than the original LitraTorch, which in our humble opinion, makes it an absolute STEAL.

“We are excited to bring the next generation LitraTorch 2.0 to market,” said Litra President Scott Gant at the CES unveiling event. He stated that product development was based on massive input and feedback from Litra’s users. “We listened to input from our professional photo and video users and made our award-winning LitraTorch even better!”

Some of the features that stand out the most include its amazing 800-lumen output, which thanks to doubling the LEDs versus its predecessor, is pretty amazing. The battery's extended 4-hour running time (at low output) is also a game-changer. The more you check out the specs of the Litra 2.0, the more you're going to love it!

Tech.WTF’s humble recommendation: Don’t hesitate to grab the LitraTorch 2.0 at this incredible price. After the roar it made at CES, nobody in the industry will be surprised if it sells out by mid-year.

About Tony Santos

I’ve been a “digital nomad” long before it became the thing it is today. I travel extensively, having been to and lived in over 60+ countries in just the last decade alone. Other than cruising my own boat for an extended time (which I did for 8+ years in the El Caribe Oeste), it’s always been my dream to be a true global citizen. And I wasn’t going to wait until I was “retirement age” to do it. So in essence, I like living in different places for months at a time or until my visa expires, whichever comes first. When people ask me where I’m from, I tell them… “Earth”.
